Well, if you are going to have a composting toilet, it's probably wise to have someplace to compost. The main bin was made from some old pallets, and the little box was made from cut offs.
I sure wouldn't be living the tiny house life if I didn't garden, and this greenhouse will be pretty handy! Hopefully wrap it this week.
I got pretty used to this ol' outhouse. I'm not really gonna say "fond memories" or anything, but it was a nice run. And so the time came to build a toilet. It was a good project, because it didn't cost anything other then the seat and the hinges, it was entirely built from cut offs.
Yes, I know, I'll be crapping in a bucket...however, I can smile at the fact that I won't be using precious drinking water to take my poo to where ever it goes...I'm sure we don't just dump it in the ocean...who would do that...ok...I'll stop with the politics!
One of life's lil' pleasures...This was a fun project that was completed over 2 days. Day one, was building the structure and day 2 was plumbing it! It was fun because I just made it up as I went along. That is one thing I have learned, making stuff up is the most fun!
I'm building a tiny house on The Sunshine Coast in BC, so I have somewhere to live...I also have no idea what I am doing...
